First Day of Chemo, October 16, 2023

Steve and I named the chemotherapy infusion room the healing room. We enter it grateful for people much smarter than we are who have developed drugs strong enough to combat the insidious cancer that seeks to destroy Steve. God’s power is in the healing room, and his love is all around us. We are hopeful.

Chemo only took about an hour, with forty five minutes of anti-nausea medications dripping into his port, and a fifteen minute push of chemo. And then it was over. Steve should feel pretty good for the first 2-3 days and then lose energy and possibly have some body aches for several days. He shouldn’t have nausea, there is an excellent treatment protocol for that.

His next chemo infusion will be on Monday, November 6. Be praying for good results!
